Â鶹Éçmadou

Mrs. Melissa Carey became an educator for the Â鶹Éçmadou School District in 1998 as a Physical Education Teacher for Bartlett High School, her alma mater.  In her tenure at Bartlett High School, she has taught Recreational Games, Flag Football & Volleyball.  She specialized in Yoga and all forms of Dance.  Melissa has served as Department Chair, ran Student Government, and coached Competitive Cheerleading.  In 2019 she became the Cyber Center Site Coordinator at Bartlett High School.  Melissa is currently the College, Career and Life Ready Coach (Academy Coach) for Robert Service High School.

Mrs. Melissa Carey received her bachelor’s degree in physical education from the University of Alaska Â鶹Éçmadou in 1997.  She married her high school sweetheart in 1998 and their son is graduating this Spring from Central Washington University.  Melissa enjoys camping, vacationing in warm places and spending time with friends and loved ones.
