Tony Lewis

Mr. Lewis began his teaching career in 1991 after obtaining both his BA and Master’s degree from East Carolina University while teaching as a graduate assistant for two years.  He received his National Board Certification in 2005 and in 2017 Mr. Lewis obtained his Certified Master Athletic Administrator certification from the NIAAA

He moved to Â鶹Éçmadou from Raleigh, NC after working at Sanderson High School for the previous 15 years. During that time, his roles included teaching health and physical education as well as an assistant coach in track and field and head football coach.   In 2011, Mr. Lewis transitioned to the role of athletic administrator until 2018.   
Mr. Lewis joined the Â鶹Éçmadou School District in January 2019 teaching health and physical education at Clark Middle School.  

Mr. Lewis, along with his wife Wendy, has 5 kids and two grandkids.  Spending time outdoors and adventuring in Alaska has always been a lifelong dream and is truly blessed to live this life.
