We started the Dream Big Academy in response to our parent and community demands for a high-quality education that motivates students to set goals, work hard, and reach for their dreams.  

The Dream Big Academy for students:

• Improves student achievement,
• Increases motivation,
• Connects school learning with the student's own future,
• Expose students to a wide range of experiences,
• Builds background knowledge,
• Transfers skills from academic to the real world.

The Dream Big Academy for the community:

• Opens our doors to families in the community after regular hours,
• Supports Airport Heights as a school of choice for all the families in our neighborhood,
• Builds the future capacity of our students as community members,
• Provides connection between the school and businesses.

The Dream Big Academy look like:

• Dedicated Social Emotional Learning period daily,
• Additional pull-out class focused on exploration and science,
• Individual student goal development and school wide success celebration,
• One-on-one digital devices,
• Enrichment activities such as after-school clubs, Saturday activities, and student leadership.
