Battle of the Books is a reading club that is open to all 3rd - 6th grade students. Students are asked to read a list of 12 books (or as many as they can) and then teams of four have "battles" to see which team remembers the most information about each book. Students play games during practices to help them remember titles, authors, and content of each book. This club meets from mid-October to mid-January once a week at lunch. One team from each grade level will compete at the district level in February. Permission slips are required to participate. Contact the school librarian if you have questions.
