  • Â鶹Éçmadou School District Dual Language Immersion Programs

At the elementary level, starting in kindergarten, students spend half of their school day learning English. The other half of their day is spent learning academic content in another language. All programs have, or will have, a middle and high school continuation strand. ASD’s dual language immersion programs are programs of choice for parents who would like their children to have the advantage of becoming proficient in two or more languages (English and a subsequent language) by the time they complete the kindergarten through 12th grade sequence of the language immersion program. There are close to 3,000 students enrolled in ASD’s dual language immersion programs.
